NVS Data Team - 2/27/09

I. Introductions
• Each partner went around the table sharing what they are working on at the neighborhood level--projects that range from data collection, to action projects, to planning efforts, to placed-based service strategies.

II. Discussion of Draft Goals
• We reviewed the goals the group might want to take on for the year--what would we want to accomplish as a data partnership?

Matt Barry, Piton Foundation, Patrick Horvath, Denver Foundation, Sue Tripathi, Making Connections Denver/United Way, Sunny Walker, Institute for Consensus Action, Jim Adams-Berger, OMNI Institute, Barbara Frommell, Department of Community Planning and Development, Jill Barkin, JP Morgan Chase Philanthropy, Lisa Montagu, Piton Foundation, Gilberto Monasterios, Office of Economic Development, Bill Fulton and Drew O'Connor, The Civic Canopy
Next Actions: 
Next Steps: ○ We need to make explicit our assumptions embedded in this model and get agreement that this is a common model we can commit to ○ Drew and Bill will make very explicit what the steps in the model are, what our theory of change is, what roles will be in this project ○ Make the "ask" very explicit--what we are asking people to commit to ○ Present a 1-year plan with a budget that details what would need to be in place to meet community needs ○ Work with Capitol Hill and Athmar Park to customize their data needs - The Data SWOT Team
