Agenda - Denver Food Coop Background - business plan, structure, stakeholders, 3305 Downing, Fundraiser June 27, 2009, Outreach Plan

The Dever Coop was incorporated in 2002 By Dave and other interested folks with the Colorado Secratary of State. The incorporators are no longer active with this effort. Greg joined the Denver Food Coop effort about a year ago. He handles responses to the website, and media promotion. There are approximatly 100 paid members. The organization has 3,000 - 4,000 in revenue and 2,000 is in silver ( a decision Dave selected given the uncertainty of the economic climate). There is a business plan on the website and there are opportunities to work with students from the DU school of business to provide expertise. There are Coop funding opportunities also. Presently - An artical appeared in the Denver Post - neighborhood hub section - Jeff and Wendy contacted Dave to discuss any possible synergy with the Denver Food Coop and their interest in the Five Points community. In a second meeting a potential site was identified and visited.

3305 Downing - Wendy checking with owner regarding the status of current tenants. Jeff and Wendy will take the lead in identifying addtional sites to discuss at next meeting.

Fundraiser - June 27th 7:00 p.m. Mercury Cafe doors open 8:00 pm - 6 acts are to perform. Denver Food Coop setting up table with suggested donation $6.00. Folks are invited to join that evening and donated items are available to have a giveaway. The online community will get a flyer week 0f June 19. We will get T-shirts to provide for members signing up that evening. ( I did not write the action items, Dave can you shed some light) .
