Theme: Would funders invest in energy efficiency projects for nonprofits?

--XCEL wants to fund green jobs (energy audits, etc.)
--Mile High Youth Corps setting the stage in green work and wants to tap into energy efficiencies in projects
--Workforce doesn’t exist to put the funding for these programs to use

In Attendance: 
PARTICIPANTS: Monique Lovato (XCEL Energy), Miz Cordero (Adams County Headstart), Matthew Halladay (Colorado Youth Corps), Dace West (DOSP), Mary Eisenstein (Rebuilding Together Metro Denver)
Next Actions: 
ACTION STEPS: Set up an Open meeting follow up for a strategy to meet with partners to explore possible partnerships (marketing effort?) --Monique looking for possible partners (foundations, businesses, etc.) --Monique is meeting with United Way to pre-qualify organizations for XCEL funds and has talked to Community Shares about reaching out to their members ----Any participants of the Civic Canopy summit interested in partnering? --Will foundations convene organizations they fund? *Miz volunteered to facilitate a future meeting *Monique will be the main contact person for this topic in the future
